Hello all,
My ex was ordered in the divorce decree to pay the IRS for taxes owed. He didn't pay and I got stuck making payments and getting my tax return intercepted by the IRS, this bill is now paid in full.
Also, there is a balance owing to the state (Indiana) which they have taken my refund for two years and the balance appears on my credit report as a tax lien.
Since the divorce my Ex has moved out of state. So my question is .... how do I go about getting my money back, getting him to pay the state, and one of the best ways to find him?
FYI----our divorce was Pro-se" and he failed to appear for the final court date so I won.
All I know is he works for the Navy in Virginia (civilian employee), and I have a last known address, which could possibly be the same. (I AM HOPING) :)
