I went through a divorce about 3 months ago and my ex agreed to pay $100 a month in child support, and now he doesn't want to pay. He has called making threats to me and my fiancee and said he isn't going to pay. When we were together his parents and sister had to get diapers for my daughter because he wouldn't allow me to work and he spent all his money on alcohol. My fiancee and I have been living together for 8 months and he has supported my child more in the 8 months than my ex husband has in 3 years. My fiancee has also bought the gas for us to take my daughter to see her dad and to go back and pick her up for the last 8 months when it is his visiting time and we live 2 and half hours away from each other and her dad has only made an effort to pick her up like 6 times in 11 months. Also my ex has received a notice saying the bank is gonna take his home back and he is 2 months behind on his eletric and water bills. Also the home has eletrical and bug problems and it worries me about where she is gonna stay and her safety while she is with him. She also came back to me with bruises from the top of her butt all the way down the back of her legs that I have witnesses for but no pictures to prove. He has 2 domestic violence 3rd degree charges against him from me. My fiancee wants me to get soul custody of her but I don't know what to do because I'm afraid of what my ex's family might try to pull to get my daughter taken away from me. I really don't want that to happen because I spent 10 years in foster care and I don't want her to go through that. Please help!!! What should I do?
