I was out for five days because I was ill.
I get 10 sick days a year atmy job.
I was cleared to come back to work by my doctor and he gave me a note to return to work.
I went to the administrative office to submit my note and the person in charge asked me why I had been out.
I refused to answer because I felt it was private. He sent me to the person in charge of human resources who asked me to discloze the information. I again refused and he said I had to go to a doctor of their choice to get a check up.
The head of human resources then informed me that if I did not go to the doctor of their choice he would write me a letter of insubordination.
I went to the doctor (an industrial doctor) and was given a check up.
I am scheduled to have a meeting for the filing of a letter of insubordination.
Do I have a case? What should I do?
