Hey everyone,
I am a bit lost and I hope someone can point me in the right direction..
My father passed away almost a year ago due to cancer. He was on medcaid. Recently we got a letter from medcaid asking for $90,000 for treatment he reciveed over the years. He only had a small home that we have on the market already.
What can be done to shield/protect the home from them. And can they just wait and show up a year later asking for $90,000!
