I am interested to know If I can recreate the image of say a well known car or truck used in a movie or TV show. I know there a lot of General Lee's (69 Dodge Chargers) out there and have seen my share of Red 74 Torino GTs with the Starsky and Hutch white stripe.
But if I wanted to recreate say a facimile of a cartoon car. Would that be copyright infringement if I did not use it for profit in any way?
