I have a friend in Oklahoma who is willing to be a surrogate for my long term boyfrined and myself. She is a midwife so can put my name on the mothers line. I live in minnesota. She is willing to do this as well as signing documentation that she gives up all parental rights in lui of protection of not being sought after for child support.

Is this a viable option? Have you any advice?

when it comes to surrogacy and children i would suggest you visited a lawyer to get a legal contract drawn up. This can be a very emotional undertaking on all parts, and although rational points will be agreed to initially, these could easily change of the course of the pregnancy and even birth. Don
