My x-husband brought a 4 wheeler to my house for me to keep at my home. My x-husband has since left the state, stopped paying child support and cut all contacts with my daughter. He is a documented drug addict.
My question is may I sell the 4 wheeler to help with the cost of no child support with out my x-husband one day coming back and having any legal right to do anything to me? I do not have the title to the 4 wheeler but the buyer is aware of that - the buyer is lives in the country and simply wants to buy it for personal use? My husband is afraid my x-husband could have legal rights if he came back? My x-husband has been gone over 6 months and has left the 4 wheeler he at my home for almost 1 year without any mention of it what so ever?
