I was wondering if a judge can tell someone they have to remain married and not grant a divorce until paternity testing is done after the baby is born? seems a violation of my rights to be ordered to wait when I havent denied paternity at all i am cooperating and plan to do a DNA after the baby comes but they wont grant my divorce until they determine if he is the father or not its in ohio?? if this is a violation of my rights how can i get this ruling over turned?

The welfare system is highly overburdened, which means that the court is going to try to get child support payments established when and where possible. He may have had a change of heart, though, since initiating legal proceedings. Bringing a new life into the world is a sobering thing to do, even if he hasn't had any contact with the baby. Just the thought of that being with him daily is enough to rock his world. He may be realizing that he's in no shape, at least not right now, to take care of his own needs, much less the continuous and ever-growing needs of a baby, and so he may have changed his mind about pursuing visitation rights and being responsible to pay child support.
