I have a divorce decree releasing me from all rights and obligations associated with land. The decree also states that I am to file a quit claim deed. The land is in a different state than where I currently live, so I have not yet filed the quit claim deed. There is a lien against the land for unpaid fees (pre-divorce) and that party is asking the court to foreclose (post-divorce). What obligation do I have?
