I was arrested in meth lab that could not be seen or smelled from the street.
It is in a very rural area. Upon my arrest I requested to see the search warrant because I had locked the gate which has a no trespassing sign on it. I asked three different policeman and was told all three times the same thing. That they would show it to me before I was taken into jail. They failed to produce the document at the scene. Early the next morning someone slid the search warrant under the jail cell door. It was dated for the day before the arrest but the time was never marked. Was this an illegal search and seizure? I have a Corvette and a Harley-Davidson full dress which I bought from proceeds of my mother's house and of course they seized those and all my other vehicle. I think that's what they were after in the first place. Do the police have to have a warrant physically present when they conduct a search and arrest?
