I have been divorced since 04 and my ex husband has custody of our 2 children. I have recently changed jobs, so the weekends that im supposed to get the kids i now have to work. My ex says that he wont switch his weekends. He has no reason why he cant. He doesnt have to work weekends he chooses to...but thats not the reason he doesnt want to switch. He is telling me that he will keep the kids on the weekends i work and then i can have them only one of the other weekends in that month. What can i do?. I cant afford an attorney or to file the family access law. What can i do to make him give me the kids on the weekends that i don't work(which is every other weekend) Our children are 8 and 9 years old. And i am being told by my oldest thaty she wants to come live with me and when she turns 12 shes gonna tell a judge. Does she have any say now?
