Moms Will--Refusal To Sell

In my mothers will she left her house to us 5
kids,some of us could use the money from the sale of the house,but the executor(my brother)wont sell saying the house is not worth anything.I live in the house and beg to differ.Is there anything the rest of us could do?thank you.

Unfortunately this is a very tricky situation when the executor does not agree! You may have to seek legal advice from a lawyer who specialises in Wills and Testiments as it can sometimes mean a bit of an arguement to get the result you want.

To be honest though, in the current economic climate, every house is worth something no matter what stae it is left in!
