i live in a trailer park in bridgeport ohio. there are 150 families that live here. i am buying my trailer on land contract. we had a bad storm last week that made a lot of trees fall. some damaged a few trailers in the park. the owner of the trailer park has never trimmed any of the trees even afer we asked him to. now he says he is not responsible for removing the trees that fell. my mothers trailer has a tree that fell and hit her trailer and has damaged her home and he wont remove it. he says his lawyer said it was an act of god. we pay a lot rent here.who is responsible for the trees on the property?

best suited for your insurance agent. This is considered an act of God, however, it doesn't necessarily mean the owner of the park isn't responsible.
Call the agent that insures your mom's trailer. He will be able to tell you on the spot.

Maybe get a petition signed amongst the tenants living in the park, against the owner asking him to maintain the grounds so that they are safe. I am no expert so i'd recommend getting help from a local lawyer.
