On July 8, 2006 the house that I rented was destroyed by a fire that was the result of faulty wiring. Everything I owned and somethings that I am legally obligated to replace was lost. My landlord cannot (or will not) provide another place for me to live, so basically I'm homeless due to no fault of my own. Is there any legal actions I can take against my landlord to recover some or all of my expenses? I live in the state of Florida. Any legal advice would be greatly appeciated.
