My ex boyfriend has custody of my 2 children ages 12 and 9 and it has just been brought to my attention that he was arrested last week for domestic violence against his little sister. Charges were pressed and he is facing jail time. Him and his girlfriend got married a few days after his arrest in hopes of preventing me from regaining custody of our children. I can not afford a lawyer and i am concerned for the well fair of our kids. Can anyone tell me where to go from here he is mentally unstable so i need to get to court as soon as possible. Can she legally keep my kids from me if he is sentenced to jail? He has full pshyical but we have joint legal.
