I recently left my car with a auto repair shop while I was out of town. They replaced the starter, which they did a good job of replacing. When I picked the car up 3 weeks later (after returning from my Business trip) I found that they 1) checked the radiator fluids and forgot to replace the radiator cap and 2) a rat took up residence in my Air Conditioning system.
The fix the issue of not replacing the radiator cap but have yet to do anything about the rat in the AC system. I do not know if the rat is still in the system alive or dead but I do know that the car now smells terrible. Are they responsible to check the duct system, clean the system to eliminate any nesting material, and eliminate the horrid smell as well as the rat carcas if still in the system? Also are they responsible for any damage done to the duct work?
Advice would be appreciated.
Thank you,
