Wage Change

I was hired into a company in late Feb. It's my part time job so i was only hired in at $7.00 hourly. Just recently they changed my rate of pay to 6.75 hourly. I was never notified of this change and would have never known had i not taken a close look at my paystub. It is to my understanding that it's illegal to change an employees pay without first notifing them of the change!
