will a court take that as evidence if in text messages this thief admits to owing me some of the ammount of a debt and the rest he makes no response to it? i have a long text conversation in which he admits to owing me some of the money and the rest he does not respond to after several attempts on my part to address it. i appreciate any input. also, it's been about 9 months since this debt has been outstanding. is there a limitation as to how long after the event one can take someone to court? thanks
