ELectrical Problem What are my rights?

I moved out of my home due to a sparking light in the only bathroom in the home. Since my landlord didn't find it important enough to fix the light by a licensed electrician (after three attempts to fix the problem by his handyman), I found a new home. My question is, can I sue him for all moving costs and get my deposit back?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
