hello
Me and my fiance live with another couple that we know thru my cousin and we both moved into a place together. all of our names are on the lease. well the guy got into it with his fiance and she's called the cops on him at least twice I've seen and was taken to jail, when she went to court she was given an order of protection. well as these situations always work, she ended up going back with him, and now its supposedly "our" fault because we suggested she press charges so now they wont pay rent. he cant come back because we asked the police dept about the OOP and they said its good for at least 6 months to 1 yr but wouldnt tell us exactly how long. and I know the landlord cant do anything since we are all on the lease. when we leave they come into the house, cause they arent working, she is pregnant and I guess he just works whenever. how can we get them out of the house? i know we could stop paying also but then im sure the landlord wouldnt appreciate that and definitely wouldnt let me and my fiance stay on a new lease.
