On 11-06 I, pro se respondent, submitted a calendar note to appear in family law court to request taking my daughter out of state to see her dying grandfather on thanksgiving weekend. Her father, has denied this request, so off to court we go. Today I received a letter from his lawyer; "Notice of Unavailability", stating that neither he nor any other lawyer in the firm is available during the following dates: November 20-24, 2006. My question: should I appear, since the scheduled court date is on the 17th, or should I assume a clerical (typo) error was made and the lawyer meant to include the 17th as a day unavailable?
