My husband and I keep a car at the airport in Wenatchee,Wa because we fly in there frequently, On April 14,2007, I was going to breakfast, and was involved in an accident in the parking lot at the local mall. I pulled into a parking space, and as I opened the door of the car a truck pulled in on the driver's side just as I opened the door, catching the door and sprung the door hinges. I was going to call the police, but when I called my husband, he informed me that the car is uninsured. Insurance is required in WA state. An affiliate of the insurance company of the other vehicle has called to make me an offer to settle this claim. Even though I don't think I'm at fault, I'm tempted to settle this, but I'm suspicious :confused: because they've attempted to bargain with me on the price.
