I rented a room for over a year to someone and she recently gave me verbal notice that she was leaving. It was not a full 30 days. I incurred many fees from her and provided her with an itemized deduction from her deposit but I gave to her at 26 days not 21 days. Should I be concerned? I have proof of more money that is owed to me from statements and receipts. Should I let her take me to small claims court if she choses or did I for go my rights by responding a few days late to her.
