My partner and I recently had a baby girl, while pregnant i began to research online how my partner can legally be her second guardian......... and we live in NC and i didnt see second parent adoption on the list ? any help are we going to have to move are there any loop holes i hope we can find out before our daughter gets of school age ....help please :(

You will have to look closer into adoption processes. As it is a unusual request, there may not be a simple form to fill out or a tick box. You may have to go through other means in order to adopt. This may also differ from state to state so my advice would be to find a local lawyer who specialises in family law and find out if you can have another person partially adopt your daughter.
