I Messed Up

This past Saturday, my boyfriend and I got into a bit of an argument, that resulted in a little 'hands on' (mind you, nothing to where there was even much of any marks and I'm just as guilty as he is). I was mad enough, and upset enough that I went to the cops and filed a statement - mainly because I wanted him to pay for my cell phone he broke. In the process, the police officer signed the ticket charging him with Domestic Battery. I don't know what to do...after reliving everything in my head -- I am just as guilty as he is . . . and I wasn't hurt (Other than my pride) . . . how can I get the charges dropped? I am in Idaho. I have sent an e-mail to the Prosecuting attorney in Bingham County, along with the County's attorney...what now? One thing...he had a similar charge against him 2 years ago with his ex-wife. It was also dismissed and he had to go to anger management classes. I made it out to be all kinds of DRAMA...and I need to fix the ball of wax I started on a roll. Please help!
