I have been having electrical issues with our car due to water damage. The water damage was caused by a missing hose in the interior of the car which allowed water to drip all over the electrics housed under the dashboard instead of outside of the car. The dealer fixed the leak (after 2 visits) and replaced the fuse box and multiplex unit but quirky things have happened since - remote keys won't work, electronic doors will stick and have to be manually opened etc. So far the dealer has reprogrammed the keys twice but has not been able to duplicate the other issues . The car currently has 2000 miles on it and has been owned 7 weeks but personally we don't want years of problems ahead of us. We are also worried if we sell the car in the future that the service history thus far will be a red flag to a potential buyer. Do we have a lemon law case and if so should we file it now or wait until the car acts up again?
