I have a nephew that I just found. The lady that has he lives with says she has legal guardianship and says I have no legal rights to take him out to the park or anything. She says the she has the right to make whatever decisions and even my mother doesn't have the right to come and get him. This lady, that is not related and actually had her natural kids in foster care for quite a while, before getting them back and now grown, still living at home, smoke weed and drink real heavy. She also said she gets welfare for him. I work full-time, have a 20 year old in college and at first just wanted to take him out and let other family members get to know him. But now I am considering getting guardianship. What should I do? What can I do legally to do this?...HELP!!!
