I need all the advise i could get. ok I fell behind on my rent due to lien i was put on my credit because of a student loan. This resulted in Garnishement of my checks and My income taxes all withheld from IRS. I received an eviction Notice in april , i went to Court and set up a payment plan, But the payments were too high. i was only able to make one payment and the next month i had to wait to put the money together and landlord ended up sending me back to court because the payment was late. I went to court and tried applying for Emergency Assistance. The Landlord gave me a month to work with Social Services. and to pay the rent for the month. I paid my rent that is due for the months that i have been in court but Social Services Is only Approving me for Half of the money in arrears . I have tried everything from going to Citizens Advice Bureau to catholic charities, but since i have no children there is hardly any help . They only way that SS will give me this money is if i prove to pay the other half and the only way i could pay the other half is by arranging a payment plan. I am so scared i received another eviction notice and i have to go back to court. My mother lives in Italy and my Dad in the Dominican Republic. I have no siblings and no family in my state. I have asked around everyone that i know to see if they could lend me the money and noone is available. I am afraid that i will be in streets soon with no place to go , PLEASE HELPP. Any Advice is good.
