That couple are selling their house over the Internet. They are holding a draw amongst bidders to take place in February next year. They have a simple page with T&Cs. Entrance fee is 10 pounds, and you kmust also answer a question right - I suppose this is to call it a "competition".
I was wondering how legal is this? Can I also sell my house this way? My car? Other items? Can I simply advertise wares on my web page, or say on Ebay, and then accept bids for a pound from people and in the end hokld a draw? isn't this like a lottery where only a few select entities in the UK are allowed to host?
