In Need of Advice

My mom was visited by the police today and informed that they will be returning the next day with a search warrant to look for my grandfathers things. It is a long and messy story but to make it short she simply does not have anything of my grandfathers. What is to stop my uncle from coming in and pointing to random things claiming it is my grandfathers when it really isn't. We have never really delt with anything like this before. It is very scary for us. We are unsure how to cope or what our rights are once this happens. If anyone has advice or knowledge about the procedures it would be very much appreciated!

legaly if they have a reason the can search what ever they wan't but your uncle can not say whose stuff is whoes most likley you will have to go to court bu t nothing will hold up and at the most you will have to pay legal fees
