I'v never filed bankruptsy before, but I'm considering filing a Chapter 7. I have alot of medical bills from an accident which cause me to have to receive SSD starting several years back.
I was told by a Social Security worker a couple years after a started receiving this that if I chose to try and work, I could make as much as I wanted the first nine months. After the nine months I was only allowed to make a certain amount.I was told by the caseworker that the nine months didn't have to be in a row. Well, I'v tried doing odd jobs like making crafts out of wood. I'v tried to work jobs where I could only work for three weeks, and had to stop due to pain in my legs. I still have limited mobility in my legs, so the jobs I'v had have been light labor compared to what I did before my accident. I'v worked off and on through the years. I always had proof of my earnings from my tax returns. I know I didn't go over what I was allowed after taxes were took out. Well, I have been cut off of disability, and sent a big bill for overpayments. After showing all my records, my reconsideration was still denied. Would this type of debt be dischargeable? Missouri
