Hi, Im new and my name is Born Sinner. Im not sure if I am in the correct place to ask this but here it goes and any reply will be greatly appreciated...... Been married only 3 months. Alot of debt has been ran up in these 3 months (new home, new 2nd car for my wife to drive, maxed credit cards, personal loan, etc.). I just found out that she had an affair 1 week into the marriage and this just killed me. I know she was spending alot but didn't know the extent of it untill, after finding out about the affair, I went to the bank and found that I now had $8.42 in checking and $5.00 in savings. She ran me dry and then said she was glad I found out because she wanted a divorce anyway (go figure!). I am divorcing her and want to know if she will be responsible for her half of the "MARITAL DEBT" accumulated during our 3 months of marriage. She is trying to just get out with all of the debt being left to me. Her credit is terrible so all debts are in my name. Please let me know.
