Does this sound like fraud to anyone, and if so what can I do about it.
My husband was involved in a minor fender bender. He was sitting at a stoplight preparing to turn right onto an on ramp to the interstate a car was infront of him also turning right. Light turned green 1st car turned corner then my husband turned corner 1st car stopped suddenly husband bumped his bumper going about 10-15 mph. We forund out a week earlier the same thing happened at the same location involving the 1st person and another driver. the person my husband bumped waited until the day befor the statute of limitations to file for damages saying he has suffered irreprable harm and can no longer work or function in a normal mannor and his quality of life is seriously deminished. he is sueing both my husband and the party that he was involved with a week earlier. He has also now filed a civil suite as well. this has been going on for 5 years. We have nothing of any value we dont even own a home.
