Hello,
I will try to give the short and sweet version of a VERY long a crazy situation.
Today my DH and I are supposed to be picking up his DS(9). We have him eot weekend. According to the divorce and mediation papers we are supposed to agree on a time a place 24 hours in advance. We have been trying for a week to contact the mom and she will not call/answer us. The mom has been evicted from yet another home and as of Sunday Aug. 12 she had not registered him for school(which starts in 2 and half weeks). My question is aside from going to the police and making a complaint (which we have done before and they never do anything) what can we do? We have no idea where she is living and even though all our paperwork says we can call him and he can call us she never allows this. If she does not contact us by the end of tonight can this be concidered kidnapping?
I am really very worried about my SS since she has 5 other kids to worry about and he as told me that she is too busy with them. Whenever he comes here he is always very dirty and says he only bathes once a week at his moms'. If my DH and I are stable (having lived in the same town for 3 years) and can more then support him and care for him, why does the police and child services do nothing to help us. He has said that he wants to come and live us, but she will not hear of it and we cannot afford to spend money on a lengthly custoday case, especially when WI is known as a "mother state" and it's certain that they will ALWAYS side with her.
I am sorry for the long rant/post I guess there is just no simple way to explain the situation. Any help would be appreciated and more then we have gotten from law enforcement around here.
