Ever since my x wife met her new husband, she has made it impossible for me to maintain a relationship with my child. X harassed me daily and she was eventually charged with criminal harassment.
Now, my X wife is suing me for more child support for a child that has never been proven to be mine. X wife had several affairs while we were together. Even though I knew there was a strong possibility that this child wasn't mine, I never let the child know and I have been a father to the child - paid support on time, fully complied with visitation etc.
We were not married when the child was conceived - we married 4 months AFTER the child was born.
Question: can I request a DNA test now? The child is 12 and I have had an ongoing relationship with the child but now the child no longer wishes to be a part of my life.
