Sunday (8/26/2007) afternoon i went to Ruby Tuesdays.
I order the triple prime burger.
Our food arrives and everyone starts digging in. I am a picky eater and there was a bit of mayo on top of my bun so as I was wiping it off I noticed something odd under my burger.
As I lifted my burger to further inspect I found a bloody glove.
I called for our waitress, who's jaw dropped, and she called for the manager. The manager just simply apologized, grabbed the plate with the bloody glove and brought me new food. They said, "Your bill is taken care of. The chef is paying for this." But to my surprise I still had to pay for my drink, my appetizer and my girlfriends meal.
The waitress stated that there was no way that it was an accident and how could someone not see a glove? She went on to say that they a young guy in the back and he's being a punk and trying to make people mad.
The more I think about this matter the more I become outraged. Not to mention the "Bloody Glove", but I was also displeased with how things were handled. I ended up paying approx $26 after tip and the fact they didn't really offer any other sort of reimbursement or favors.
I called corporate Monday (8/27/2007) morning and filed a complaint. They are now asking for my terms. I have not contacted any news organizations either.
