Hi everyone. I am new here and seeking some kind of advice or personal experience to lead me in the right direction. Here's the deal...
Everyday my child comes home crying, sad and upset. I am not exaggerating. She is being picked on, made fun of and has been dealing with the bullying for the past 3 years. I have told her to defend herself and not the let the kids bother her. That is not working. They are also threatening to kick her butt. The bus has had different drivers as no one wants to drive this route because of the kids. My child has gotten in trouble from these matters while the kids who started it have never gotten in trouble for it. I cannot afford to take her back and forth to school everyday. We also cannot move yet. Our lease is up in December but we wanted to wait until the summer so that it didn't disrupt the kids schooling. I have sent emails, called the school, and the bus transportation department. Nothing has been done and it seems like nothing will be done about it. So what can I do? Can I call a lawyer and sue the school system for not protecting my child and preventing the bullying. The school she goes to has a "no bullying" policy, that is obviously not being followed. Also, when the principal try to fix things, my child is the only one getting in trouble. These other kids are lying and they are getting away with being like that. Oh and just the other day, a boy beat up a girl who rides the bus!
Anyone have any suggestion on what I can do?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
