Deposition prior to receipt of discovery materials

I am a plaintiff in a civil action suit against a party for claim of fraud and breach of contract. The defendant's attorney had requested discovery documentation from me, the plaintiff and I obliged. My attorney has not received the requested discovery documents from the defendent and the depositions of defendants are scheduled for next week. Would it be in my best interest that depositions of defendants be rescheduled until discovery documents are released by the defendant?
