A minor was at my home drinking last week and her parents called the police when she returned home. I did not personally give her alcohol, my teenager did. She then left her home after a fight with her father and returned to mine without my knowledge. No charges were filed and I was not ticketed but now the officer wants me to come down to the police station and make a statement. Can I and should I refuse to comment since this could implicate me in a crime? I think he is just trying to finish up his report but I don't want to implicate myself. What can I legally do. :rolleyes:
